The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is preparing for its next launch scheduled for May 2025, as announced by Chairman V Narayanan. During a press event after receiving the KPP Nambiar Award 2025 from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Kerala, Narayanan highlighted that multiple missions are planned for the new financial year. He provided updates on the Gaganyaan mission, stating that astronaut training is ongoing, including specialized modules for deep-space preparedness. Additionally, the Navigation with Indian Constellation (NavIC) satellite navigation system is progressing as planned, with further details to be revealed at an appropriate time. Narayanan also mentioned that the K Vijay Raghavan Committee is investigating the PSLV-C62 mission failure, with a report expected soon.
