Grace Kendall, a senior at Aurora Christian High School in Montgomery, Illinois, has taken on a leadership role as the Eagles' softball team makes significant strides. In a recent game, the Eagles secured an 11-9 victory over Timothy Christian, marking the first time the program has defeated the Trojans at the varsity level. Kendall, who has been with the program for four years, shared that the team's growth is evident, especially with the influx of nine freshmen. She expressed confidence in the team's potential to compete for a regional title this season. Kendall's leadership extends beyond her performance on the field; she actively mentors younger players, including freshman pitcher Ella Owen, who showcased her talent during the game.
