The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is anticipated to announce the Class 10 results for the 2026 academic year within this month. Students can check their scores on the official website, results.cbse.nic.in, by entering their roll number and date of birth. The Class 10 examinations were conducted from February 17 to March 11, 2026, starting with the Mathematics Standard paper. This year, CBSE implemented a two-board system, where the first board exams were compulsory, while a second optional exam will be available for students wishing to improve their scores. The second examination is scheduled from May 15 to June 1, 2026. Under this scheme, students can appear for improvement in a maximum of three subjects. Those who fail in two subjects will be categorized for compartment exams, while those failing or absent in three or more subjects will need to wait for the main board exams in 2027. The better score from either attempt will be used to calculate the final Class 10 result.
