The Tamil film industry has been shaken by the online leak of *Jana Nayagan*, an unreleased film starring superstar Vijay. In response, the Cyber Crime Department has arrested six individuals connected to the illegal distribution of the film. KVN Productions, the film's producer, has initiated legal proceedings against those responsible for the leak and warned audiences against downloading or sharing unauthorized content. Legal counsel Vijayan Subhramanium stated that any individual involved in the circulation of leaked scenes will face criminal prosecution. The film, directed by H. Vinoth and featuring a cast that includes Pooja Hegde and Bobby Deol, was set to be released on January 9 but has faced delays due to certification issues with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The leak has raised concerns as Vijay prepares to enter politics, coinciding with the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. Prominent figures in the film industry have rallied in support of Vijay, condemning the act of piracy and emphasizing the importance of protecting creative works.
