He made his debut last year, starting with a six, and quickly became the youngest centurion in IPL history by scoring a 35-ball hundred, marking him as the fastest Indian to achieve this feat. Yuvraj commended Sooryavanshi's impressive bat speed, stating that it is superior to his own, and noted that the young player's ability to play shots all around the ground showcases his diverse skills. Yuvraj is optimistic about Sooryavanshi's future in international cricket, believing that his experience in the IPL will prepare him for the senior men's team. He acknowledged the intense competition for spots in the Indian T20I team but is confident that Sooryavanshi will eventually get his chance.
