On March 7, Steven Siddall from Ashton, Greater Manchester, was frustrated when a DPD delivery driver failed to deliver his £1,600 Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. After the driver drove past his residence and sent a notification claiming he wasn't home, Siddall decided to track him down. He found the driver parked at a Costa shop and confronted him about the missed delivery. Despite the driver initially denying he had the parcel, Siddall insisted and eventually retrieved his phone. He later shared footage of the heated exchange on Facebook, which prompted the driver to send him a threatening message regarding his address. Following this incident, Siddall expressed his intention to avoid using DPD for future online orders, citing the driver's behavior as unacceptable. He stated, “If I buy anything now from anywhere, I make sure to say 'who are you sending it by'? If it's DPD, I cancel the order.” DPD has been contacted for comment regarding this situation.
