During the Unnat Krishi Mahotsav in Raisen, Madhya Pradesh, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh reiterated the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government's commitment to farmer welfare, stating that it has consistently worked to support farmers. He emphasized the role of innovation and technology in transforming traditional farming into smart farming, which is increasingly adopted by the youth across the country. Singh assured attendees that there would be no shortage of funds or resources for agricultural support. The event features 300 stalls showcasing modern tractors, seeds, and fertilizers, along with training sessions on organic farming, dairy, poultry, and fisheries. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for a self-reliant India, linking strong agriculture to national security and development. The festival aims to facilitate direct dialogue between farmers and agricultural scientists, enhancing knowledge and skills in the sector.
