During a clean-up of his childhood home in Dorset, England, Andrew Braund, a 37-year-old teaching assistant, stumbled upon a collection of rare Pokemon cards that could fetch a substantial amount of money. Initially estimating the value of his entire collection at around £500 (approximately ₹50,000), Braund was astonished to learn that three specific Charizard cards were worth significantly more. The mint-condition Skyridge Charizard holo card is valued between ₹10 lakh and ₹15 lakh, while a near-mint version is estimated at ₹12.68 lakh. Additionally, a reverse-holo Skyridge Charizard card is valued between ₹2.03 lakh and ₹2.79 lakh. Braund plans to sell these cards through Ewbank's Auctions to help cover the costs of his wedding to his fiancée, Rachel Mosley, scheduled for August. The auction will also feature a factory-sealed display of 1999 theme decks and a complete 1st Edition Team Rocket set, adding to the excitement for collectors.
