He shared his experience on social media, indicating that the injury is severe enough to hinder his breathing. Although he initially considered surgical correction, a consultation with a nose surgeon led him to postpone the procedure until after his fighting career. The doctor advised that surgery would require re-breaking other bones and a lengthy recovery period, which Dvalishvili is not willing to undertake at this time. He is currently not scheduled for a UFC fight but will face Henry Cejudo at Real American Freestyle 8 on April 18, having previously defeated Cejudo in the UFC. Dvalishvili's last fight was a unanimous decision loss to Petr Yan at UFC 323 last year.
