He achieved this milestone on April 9, 2026, during a match against the Kolkata Knight Riders in Kolkata, needing just 25 runs to reach the mark. Badoni accomplished this in the 12th over of LSG's innings while chasing a target of 182 runs. KL Rahul was the first player to score 1000 runs for LSG, amassing a total of 1410 runs in his IPL career with the franchise. Following him, Nicholas Pooran joined the 1000-run club last year. Badoni's current tally stands at 1002 runs, placing him third in the list of top run-scorers for LSG, behind Rahul and Pooran.
