Previous attempts at consensus within BRICS regarding the ongoing conflict have been hampered by differences between Iran and the UAE, as well as Saudi Arabia's involvement amid retaliatory strikes from Iran. To facilitate productive discussions, India is working closely with Egypt, a key BRICS member and strategic partner, to ensure that the meeting proceeds smoothly. Egyptian ambassador Kamel Zayed Galal has expressed confidence in Indian diplomacy's ability to navigate the complex regional landscape. Additionally, Russia has extended its support for India's leadership within BRICS, highlighting the importance of a unified stance on the challenges facing international peace and stability.
