Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, directed by Aditya Dhar, has made history by becoming the first Hindi film to cross ₹1,000 crore (approximately $121 million USD) in net domestic collections. Released on March 19, coinciding with the Gudi Padwa festival, the film benefited from a festive window that included Eid. Strong word of mouth and the success of its first installment contributed to its impressive box office run. By day 18, the film had amassed a total of ₹1,011.02 crore in India, with around ₹900 crore coming from the Hindi version alone. Internationally, it has also performed exceptionally well, grossing over $41.5 million, and setting records in key markets like North America, where it surpassed the previous record held by Baahubali 2. The film features a strong ensemble cast, including Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan, and continues to draw audiences to theaters.
