The Lucknow district administration has digitized over 22.5 lakh (2.25 million) land records across five tehsils, set to be accessible online from April 15. This initiative aims to improve transparency and efficiency in revenue administration, allowing citizens to obtain certified copies digitally.

The Lucknow district administration has successfully digitized over 22.5 lakh (2.25 million) land records, encompassing various documents such as khatauni and settlement records from five tehsils: Sadar, Malihabad, Mohanlalganj, BKT, and Sarojininagar. This extensive effort covers a total of 898 villages across the district. According to district magistrate Vishak G, the digitized records will be accessible through a new website, lucknowbhulekh.in, starting April 15. After this date, certified copies of the digitized records will only be available online, with physical copies no longer provided from record rooms. This transition is expected to streamline the process of obtaining land records, allowing citizens to access their documents with ease and efficiency. ADM Shubhi Singh emphasized that users will receive a One Time Password to download their desired documents without needing human interaction, marking a significant step towards modernizing revenue administration in Lucknow.
