Khera also stated that the couple and their son own a business in the United States valued at ₹52,000 crore (approximately $6.3 billion USD), which allegedly plans to open hotels in the US. Sarma has vehemently denied these claims, asserting that Khera's allegations are fabricated and threatening to file a defamation lawsuit against him.
