In its first year, Houndsy generated $456,000 in revenue, and the company has since achieved a remarkable $15 million in lifetime revenue, with projections to match that amount in 2026. The co-founders initially bootstrapped the business with $20,000 and successfully raised $160,000 on Kickstarter to validate their product-market fit. Both Bapu and Wilson left their corporate jobs to dedicate themselves fully to Houndsy by 2023. Bapu's experience in growth marketing and Wilson's product management background have been instrumental in their success, which has also positively impacted the disabled community by providing a convenient feeding solution.
