Karan Aujla, the Punjabi singer currently on his P-Pop Culture India Tour, has cancelled his concerts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, and Ludhiana, Punjab, due to backlash from a previous performance in Mumbai. The March 3 concert in Mumbai faced severe criticism for poor management, leading to a chaotic atmosphere and health concerns among attendees. Following this incident, ticketing platform District confirmed that refunds would be processed for both cancelled shows due to 'logistical difficulties.' An official from the local administration in Lucknow stated that the cancellation was also influenced by issues such as the inability to secure a liquor license and low ticket sales, which were reportedly overpriced. Despite these cancellations, Aujla's concert in Jaipur is still set to proceed as planned. Additionally, he has announced a new show titled 'Mumbai 2.0' for April 12, aiming to address the concerns raised during the previous event.
