Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading IT company in India, has confirmed the suspension of employees involved in allegations of sexual harassment and forced religious conversion at its Nashik office. Eight female employees reported that they faced mental and sexual harassment from senior colleagues, claiming that their complaints were ignored by the human resources department. In response, police have formed a special investigation team (SIT) and arrested seven individuals, including a female HR manager. TCS reiterated its commitment to a zero-tolerance policy regarding harassment and coercion, stating that it prioritizes the safety and well-being of its employees. The company is cooperating with local law enforcement, and further actions will depend on the investigation's findings.
