His injury follows that of teammate Luka Doncic, who is also out due to a Grade 2 left hamstring strain. Doncic leads the NBA in scoring with 33.5 points per game and was recently named the Western Conference Player of the Month for March. The Lakers, currently third in the Western Conference standings, are just one game ahead of the fourth-placed Denver Nuggets as they head into the final stretch of the regular season.
