If the Jackalopes win, Chevron will donate $5,000 to SHARE, a nonprofit in West Texas that supports families of children with special needs. Conversely, if the Ice Wolves prevail, the donation will go to the New Mexico Blade Runners, an Albuquerque organization that provides adaptive sled hockey for individuals with physical disabilities. Additionally, the runner-up nonprofit will receive $2,500. This initiative reflects Chevron's commitment to supporting local communities in both Texas and New Mexico, as noted by Tim Shannon, Chevron's Texas Director of Operations.
