Pharaoh Compton, a forward from San Diego State University, has officially committed to the University of Oregon after entering the NCAA transfer portal. In the recently concluded 2025-26 season, Compton showcased his growth by averaging 7.5 points and 2.8 rebounds per game, an increase from his freshman averages of 5.4 points and 2.4 rebounds. He played in 63 games during his time at San Diego State, starting only once, and is known for his inside play, having attempted only two three-pointers throughout his college career. Compton scored in double figures 11 times this past season, with his highest rebounding game reaching eight. Notably, he faced Oregon earlier in the season, contributing six points and four rebounds in a match against them. Alongside Compton, Tyrone Riley IV, a guard from San Francisco, has also committed to Oregon, adding depth to the Ducks' roster as they prepare for the upcoming season.
