The LPG carrier Green Sanvi, loaded with 46,655 metric tonnes of liquefied petroleum gas, is on course to cross the Strait of Hormuz and is expected to arrive in Mumbai by April 6. The vessel is currently navigating north of the Strait, with an anticipated transit completion around midnight on April 3. This development follows the successful delivery of LPG by two other carriers, Jag Vasant and Pine Gas, to Indian ports in recent days. Meanwhile, two additional LPG vessels, Green Asha and Jag Vikram, are awaiting instructions from the Indian Navy to transit through the Strait. In the Gulf region, 17 Indian vessels are currently stationed, with efforts ongoing to facilitate their movement. Additionally, around 20,500 Indian seafarers are in the wider Gulf area, with 1,130 having been evacuated by various shipping companies as of April 3.
