Ashish Kacholia, a prominent investor known as the 'Big Whale', has significantly increased his stake in two smallcap stocks during the March quarter of FY26. His investment in SG Finserv, a Reserve Bank of India-registered non-banking financial company (NBFC), rose to 2.37%, up from 1.14% in December, marking a 123 basis points increase. SG Finserv has performed well, gaining 33% over the past six months, despite a broader market downturn where the Nifty and Sensex fell over 4% and 5%, respectively. Additionally, Kacholia raised his holding in Aeroflex Industries to 2.27%, up from 2.01%, reflecting a 26 basis points increase. Aeroflex, which specializes in stainless steel flexible flow solutions, has seen its stock soar nearly 80% over the past year. Currently, Aeroflex shares trade at Rs 291.25, up 6%, while SG Finserv shares reached a high of Rs 473, gaining 2% on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). Kacholia's investment portfolio includes other notable stocks such as Tanfac Industries and Safari Industries, with a net worth exceeding Rs 2,607.5 crore.
