On Friday, Yumnam Khemchand, the Chief Minister of Manipur, visited Senapati district to inaugurate significant development projects aimed at enhancing regional infrastructure. Key projects included a multi-level parking facility and an inter-state agriculture transportation hub with a capacity for 147 vehicles. The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stones for 69 Anganwadi centres under the SASCI initiative and inaugurated community buildings in local villages. His visit was marked by support from various civil society organizations, which he credited for aiding the government's efforts to restore peace following recent violence. Emphasizing the importance of inclusive development, Khemchand stated that Manipur's progress relies on the development of all its districts. On his return, he met with local MLA Haokholet Kipgen to discuss priorities for peace and stability.
