In the exploration challenge of the Sanctum of Renunciation in Crimson Desert, players are tasked with restoring a device linked to Areciel, the Witch of Strength. This challenge requires acquiring two essential components: the Fusion Core and the Fusion Reactor. The Sanctum is situated on the banks of the Red River, between the Sandpeak Gold Mine and the Giant’s Yard Outpost Camp, and can be accessed by traveling northeast from Drywinds Valley in northern Delesyia. Players will encounter Antumbra troops that must be defeated to liberate the area.

To find the Fusion Core, players should enter the ruins and take the right opening near the entrance, where the core is located on an upper ledge. The Fusion Reactor is found in a barred chamber to the left of the entrance. After collecting both components, players must attach them to the device in the central chamber. Successfully placing both parts will cleanse the Sanctum and grant access to a treasure chest containing the Golden Greed Plate Helm.
