On April 1, Sarabjit Singh allegedly rammed his vehicle through a security barrier at the Delhi Legislative Assembly, prompting the arrest of three individuals, including himself. His family, residing in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, claims he is mentally unstable and had been missing for five days before the incident. Sarabjit's mother described his behavior as erratic, stating that he often isolates himself and does not communicate with family members during episodes of instability. Reports indicate that he entered the assembly premises through Gate No. 2 around 2:05 pm and was involved in an incident where ink was thrown at the Delhi Assembly Speaker's vehicle. After placing a bouquet inside the Speaker's car, he remained in the vehicle until police apprehended him near Roopnagar.
