Despite these serious allegations, the NFL determined there was insufficient evidence to discipline Rice. He was previously involved in a high-speed crash in March 2024, which resulted in injuries and led to a six-game suspension last season for violating the personal conduct policy. Rice's attorney expressed gratitude for the NFL's thorough investigation and stated Rice looks forward to the upcoming season. Meanwhile, Jones's lawsuit is set to go to trial on June 9, 2026.
