On April 14, 2026, Home Minister V. Anitha and Andhra Pradesh Speaker CH. Ayyanna Patrudu inaugurated three newly constructed police stations in Anakapalli district. The stations, located in Natavaram, KD Peta, and Golugonda, were built at a cost of ₹2.5 crore each under the Special Infrastructure Scheme (SIS) and supervised by the Andhra Pradesh Police Housing Corporation.
