He expressed his disappointment during an interview, stating that he had worked hard to secure sponsorship for the match and was eagerly anticipating the team's visit, particularly that of star player Lionel Messi. Abdurahiman revealed that upon further inquiry, he discovered that Argentina had allegedly made similar arrangements with five other countries, only to fail to show up. He suggested that legal action may be necessary to seek compensation for the alleged betrayal, which he believes has let down football fans in Kerala. Additionally, he mentioned his political plans to contest in the Tirur assembly constituency in the upcoming elections, emphasizing his commitment to addressing local development issues.
