The final electoral roll now stands at 13.39 crore, with 7.3 crore males (54.54%) and 6.09 crore females (45.46%), alongside 4,206 third-gender electors. The revision process, which lasted 166 days, also saw the gender ratio improve to 834, up from 824. The initial draft published in January showed nearly 2.88 crore deletions, but subsequent claims and objections led to the removal of an additional 8.15 lakh names, although 84.28 lakh new names were added. This extensive revision aims to ensure a more accurate and representative electoral roll ahead of upcoming elections.
