To mitigate panic buying and hoarding, the Union Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has mandated a 25-day minimum gap between domestic LPG bookings, up from 21 days. Gupta also highlighted the establishment of dedicated helplines to combat black marketing, citing a recent police raid in Rohini that resulted in the seizure of six illegally stored cylinders.
