Tennessee is actively recruiting Terrence Hill Jr., a 6-foot-3 point guard transferring from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Hill Jr. will visit the University of Tennessee on Wednesday as part of the 2026 basketball transfer portal class. He is also scheduled to visit the University of Kansas on Monday. In the 2024-25 season, he played in 23 games for VCU, averaging 3.4 points, 0.6 rebounds, and 0.3 assists per game. Notably, Hill Jr. was recognized as the Atlantic 10's Sixth Man of the Year and Most Improved Player, averaging 15 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 36 games, including two starts. Tennessee's 2026 recruiting class already includes small forward Ralph Scott, power forward Manny Green, and point guard Marquis Clark. However, the program is facing roster changes, with three players graduating and five entering the transfer portal.
