On April 14, 2023, Newport Central Catholic in Newport, Kentucky, celebrated the dedication of the Ciafardini Family Athletic Complex and Robert J. Schneider Field. The ceremony was led by Most Rev. As the fall sports season approaches, excitement builds among players, especially with the Thoroughbreds football team set to debut the field against Lloyd Memorial. The girls soccer team is looking to build on its first winning season since 2018, while the boys team aims for a district title with most of its players returning.
