On Saturday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the 'School Chalo Abhiyan' from Composite Vidyalaya in Shivpur, Varanasi, asserting that education is society's greatest strength. He called for a collective effort to ensure that every child receives an education. The campaign follows the government's commitment to improving educational facilities, with over ₹80,000 crore allocated to basic education. Adityanath highlighted that the dropout rate has significantly decreased from 19% to 3%, and emphasized the importance of community involvement in education. The initiative includes provisions for free uniforms and textbooks, which are distributed in two phases. He also noted that the NITI Aayog recognized Uttar Pradesh's educational improvements as a success story. The CM's remarks reflect a broader commitment to social justice and economic equality through education, urging teachers and parents to ensure no child is left behind.
