Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are set to receive a significant boost with the potential return of veteran wicket-keeper batter MS Dhoni and South African youngster Dewald Brevis for their IPL 2026 match against Delhi Capitals. Dhoni, who has led CSK to five IPL titles, missed the first three matches due to a calf strain. He is expected to undergo a fitness test shortly, and if successful, he could take the field against Delhi. Meanwhile, Brevis has also been sidelined with a side strain but is nearing recovery, according to CSK head coach Stephen Fleming. CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad echoed this optimism, stating that Dhoni is progressing well and eager to return. Currently, CSK finds themselves at the bottom of the IPL points table after three consecutive losses.
