Akshay Kumar's upcoming film Bhooth Bangla has received a UA 16+ certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) following a review process that began on April 2. The board requested the removal of certain obscene words, leading to minor edits that resulted in a final runtime of 164.52 minutes. The film is now scheduled to be released in theaters on April 16, a shift from its original date of April 10. The three-minute trailer, which blends humor with supernatural elements, showcases Kumar in comedic and eerie situations, supported by a talented cast including Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Tabu. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film marks a long-awaited collaboration between Kumar and the director, known for their successful past projects. Bhooth Bangla is produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd, and is set to feature a ‘paid preview’ on its opening day.
