Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has issued a stern warning that Tehran is prepared to retaliate with force if the US or Israel escalate tensions. He criticized the US for prioritizing Israel in its decision-making, despite its stated 'America First' doctrine. Ghalibaf also mentioned that Iran accepted a ceasefire only after its conditions were met, asserting that Tehran had achieved its objectives in the conflict. Negotiations between Tehran and Washington have shown some progress, particularly concerning Iran's nuclear program and the strategic Strait of Hormuz, although significant gaps remain.
