On Sunday, Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary of Bihar proposed an educational tour circuit for schoolchildren that will connect prominent landmarks in Patna, including Bapu Tower, Bihar Museum, Patna Museum, and Science City. This initiative was announced during his visit to Bapu Tower, where he emphasized the importance of educating young people about Mahatma Gandhi's life and ideals. Choudhary instructed the building construction department, led by Secretary Kumar Ravi, to collaborate with the tourism and art and culture departments to enhance facilities and increase visitor engagement at Bapu Tower. The tower, a six-storey structure dedicated to Gandhi, features a unique copper-clad exterior and is designed to provide insights into Gandhi's contributions to India's freedom struggle. The CM also highlighted the need for increased greenery around the tower and released a journal titled “Satyagrah - Bapu Tower Ka Prakashan,” which he suggested should be digitized for broader public access. Following his visit, Choudhary offered prayers at Baba Baidyanath Dham temple in Deoghar, Jharkhand, for the prosperity of Bihar.
