In Maharashtra, 1,27,123 students took the exam, with 1,23,921 successfully passing, including 72,433 boys and 54,690 girls. The results were declared on April 15, 2026, nearly a month earlier than usual, following the evaluation of approximately 1.6 crore answer sheets. Southern regions dominated the national rankings, with Trivandrum and Vijayawada achieving the highest pass rates of 99.79%. The overall national pass percentage rose to 93.70%, a slight increase from the previous year.
