The Lobo women’s basketball team has announced the signings of two players, Keiara Curtis and Kate Wernli, as part of their roster development. Keiara Curtis, a 5-foot-8 guard from Seattle transferring from the University of Hawai’i, was recognized on the Big West All-Freshman Team. She averaged 9 points per game, with a shooting percentage of 40.2% from the field and 38.5% from three-point range, totaling 109 rebounds in 33 games. Coach Amy Eagan expressed excitement about Curtis's potential impact on the team. Kate Wernli, a 5-foot-9 freshman from Bixby, Oklahoma, previously committed to Eagan's former program, is the younger sister of Gracy Wernli, who signed with the Lobos earlier. Wernli averaged 15 points and 5 rebounds per game in high school, scoring over 1,100 points throughout her career. With these additions, the Lobos now have 11 players on their roster for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
