This tournament will feature the top 15 teams from the 18-member league, with a reduction in regular-season matches from 20 to 17 to ensure each team plays against every other team once. Big Ten Commissioner Tony Petitti expressed excitement about the tournament, stating it will showcase the nation's best volleyball talent and determine the conference champion through a postseason event.
