In an interview with NDTV, Goenka stated that his gestures are frequently misinterpreted, saying, “With Rishabh, there has never been a ‘daant’ (scolding) situation ever.” He humorously remarked that he has become a target for criticism, suggesting, “make Sanjiv Goenka a punching bag.” Goenka also pointed out the role of artificial intelligence in creating morphed video content that misrepresents the original moments, further fueling rumors. He firmly rejected the notion that he instructs his players on how to play cricket, stating, “It would be foolish to tell my cricketers how to play,” and emphasized that he relies on a team of experts for that purpose.
