Jaffer observed that Bumrah's body language has changed since the T20 World Cup 2026, indicating he is not at his best. He highlighted that Bumrah has been missing his lengths and has not taken a wicket this season, conceding runs at an economy rate of 8.63. Jaffer remarked that Bumrah seems to be going through a rough patch, lacking the usual pace and zing in his deliveries. The right-arm seamer is expected to play next against Gujarat Titans on April 20.
