He acknowledged that he has not met the standards expected of him, particularly after being absent from the T20 squad since December 2024. Rizwan stated, 'You only think about retiring when you know you can’t compete with others for a spot in the team.' He emphasized that he still loves playing cricket in all formats and is focused on increasing his efforts in training to regain his form. With a career that includes 41 Tests, 103 ODIs, and 106 T20 internationals, Rizwan is committed to proving his critics wrong and continuing his journey in cricket.
