Athan Kaliakmanis, the quarterback for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, is visiting the Cincinnati Bengals as part of his pre-draft process. The Bengals, who are well-positioned at quarterback with Joe Burrow and Joe Flacco, are assessing whether to invest a draft pick in another quarterback. Kaliakmanis has made a name for himself in college football, throwing for nearly 6,000 yards and 38 touchdowns over two seasons at Rutgers, following his time at the University of Minnesota. He was recognized as a team captain in both seasons and was included on the Watch List for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award. Originally from Antioch, Illinois, he was named the Gatorade Player of the Year in 2021 and ranked as a four-star prospect by 247Sports.
