Steveson, a 25-year-old Olympic gold medalist in freestyle wrestling, has signed with the UFC and is set to make his promotional debut at UFC 329 on July 11 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Although an opponent has not yet been announced, Woodley believes that Steveson's skills, including his powerful striking and exceptional wrestling, position him as a strong contender in the heavyweight division. Woodley stated, “Tom Aspinall will get tortured by Gable right now,” emphasizing Steveson's potential to become heavyweight champion soon. Before his UFC debut, Steveson will compete against UFC veteran Alexandr Romanov at RAF 09 on May 30 in Arlington, Texas, which will be streamed on FOX Nation.
