Aleksas Bieliauskas, who played for the Wisconsin Badgers men's basketball team, has announced his commitment to the University of South Carolina on April 17. During his freshman year at Wisconsin, Bieliauskas participated in all 35 games and made 28 starts, averaging 4.9 points and 4.4 rebounds in 20.2 minutes per game. Notably, he contributed significantly in a game against Michigan, where he scored five 3-pointers, helping the Badgers secure an upset victory over the eventual national champions. Bieliauskas will join a South Carolina program that has connections to Wisconsin, as head coach Lamont Paris was an assistant coach at Wisconsin from 2010 to 2017. He becomes the second of four Wisconsin transfers to commit elsewhere, following reserve forward Jack Robison's decision to join North Dakota State. The other two players, starting guard John Blackwell and reserve forward Riccardo Greppi, have yet to announce their new schools.
