NBCC (India) Limited has reported a record revenue of ₹5,779 crore from the sale of commercial spaces at the Bharat Business Park (BBP) located in Sarojini Nagar, New Delhi. This achievement marks the highest revenue from a single e-auction for the company. The auction offered approximately 2.34 million square feet of commercial space across eight towers, with around 1.4 million square feet sold on a freehold basis. Notably, two towers were purchased by Sberbank, a major Russian bank. The average sale rate during the auction was ₹41,207 per square foot, which is 5% higher than the reserve price, indicating strong demand from both international and domestic multinational corporations, institutional buyers, and public sector undertakings. The project, which is expected to be completed in two years, focuses on sustainability and energy efficiency, featuring solar power systems, energy-efficient chillers, and advanced safety systems. The proceeds from this auction will be utilized to finance seven redevelopment projects in various locations across New Delhi, supporting urban redevelopment initiatives. With limited inventory remaining, NBCC anticipates a second phase of e-auction, presenting further opportunities for corporate buyers.
