Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh government is conducting a large-scale training program for 500 forensic experts at the Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Science in Lucknow. The initiative aims to modernize policing and enhance crime investigation techniques. As of now, 300 experts have completed their training, with the remaining batches set to finish soon. These trained experts will return to their respective commissionerates and districts to train other police personnel, thereby establishing a robust statewide network for forensic policing. The training covers a range of topics, including crime scene management, cyber forensics, and digital evidence preservation, ensuring that police officers are equipped with both traditional and modern investigative techniques. The fourth training batch is scheduled to begin on April 27, with the fifth phase to follow, completing the training of all experts across 75 districts in the state.
