Assistant Labour Commissioner Suyash Pandey noted that many workers were unaware of the new rates because companies failed to display the updated information prominently. Following interventions by the department, the situation has stabilized, with no major complaints currently reported. The department is now focused on ensuring uniform implementation of the revised wage structure across all industrial units, particularly in smaller and unorganised sectors. Labour officers have been instructed to inspect these units actively to ensure compliance. To enhance transparency, companies are urged to display wage details prominently at factory gates. The department has also established multiple channels for workers to report grievances, ensuring prompt action on any issues raised.
