One candidate is Devon Marshall, a cornerback from North Carolina State University, who recently completed a virtual interview with the team. Marshall had an impressive college season, leading the nation with 16 pass deflections and achieving an 85.0 Pro Football Focus coverage grade. He recorded 50 total tackles and two interceptions in 2025, showcasing his defensive skills. Although Marshall's physical testing results, including a 40-yard dash time of 4.64 seconds, may not fully reflect his on-field quickness, he remains a strong Day 3 prospect. Currently ranked 151st on PFF's big board, Marshall could be a valuable addition to the Saints, who have five picks on Day 3 and are looking for immediate contributors to enhance their roster for the upcoming season.
